Outbreak Status: Homes marked with an asterisk (*) are currently in outbreak status, which occurs when there is a new COVID-19 case among residents or staff. During this time, residents and staff will be tested more frequently. Visitors should be strictly adhering to the Core Principles of COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Visitor Safety Information found here.
Cumulative: Many residents and staff who once tested positive for COVID-19 are no longer presumed to be positive. Some former residents have even discharged home or to a lower level of care. The cumulative number reflects a running total of confirmed cases since our first case emerged in our Wesley Woods home on April 1, 2020.
Currently active positive: This is a subset of the cumulative number of confirmed cases. This number is more like a snapshot and reflects the current number of A.G. Rhodes residents in our care—or staff members employed by A.G. Rhodes or our dietary/therapy partners—who are still actively positive for COVID-19, or presumed to be so.
Admitted with COVID-19 and currently positive: This reflects individuals who were admitted to A.G. Rhodes with a positive diagnoses and who are still presumed or confirmed to be positive. This number is not in A.G. Rhodes’ cumulative total because these individuals were diagnosed with COVID-19 prior to arriving at A.G. Rhodes.
We follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC’s) guidelines to evaluate when residents and staff are no longer presumed to be positive for COVID-19. Additionally, many residents are retested at the direction of and in coordination with our Medical Directors.
Death following a positive diagnosis: While the number of deaths following a COVID-19 diagnosis is provided, please note that A.G. Rhodes does not determine cause of death. Our heartfelt condolences are extended to the loved ones of those who have passed away, and to all those who have been impacted by this virus. We know this is an extremely difficult time, and our sympathies are with you.
Onset Respiratory Symptoms Notification: We are mandated to notify residents and their families if one or more clusters of three or more residents/staff has developed new onset respiratory symptoms within a 72-hour period. This information is also posted in the A.G. Rhodes buildings for residents and others to access.
