Living Well Luncheon 2026
The 2026 Living Well Luncheon was held on Feb. 19 and we had a record-breaking event, raising more than $150,000 to support our Horticultural Therapy program and the Margaret Boyd Perdue Endowment Fund!
Watch the recap video for highlights from this special afternoon:
Each year the Living Well Luncheon—hosted by the A.G. Rhodes Board of Advisors—brings together business leaders, partners, the A.G. Rhodes community of care partners and families, and supporters to learn about critical aging-related issues that impact our community and to raise funds for important initiatives that greatly enhance the quality of life for our residents. Check back in late 2026 for information about next year’s event.
Speaker

We are deeply grateful to this year’s speaker, Dr. Cassandra Quave, for sharing her unique perspective on the intersection of nature, science, nutrition, and healing in advancing not just our lifespan but our healthspan.
Her book, The Plant Hunter, can be purchased at her website here.
Honoree
This year’s event honored Fay Howell, a long-time A.G. Rhodes friend and supporter who served as the President of the Board of Managers (now called the Board of Advisors) in 1975. Along with her late husband, Barrett Howell, Fay has championed mission-driven causes like A.G. Rhodes that continue to benefit the community today.
Watch a tribute to Fay Howell.
