I would definitely recommend this facility for a loved one in need of long term care skilled nursing. When we've gone to visit a family member that resides here it is always clean and a member of the staff has been available. There's a member of staff available when we need to talk with the nurse about care, or if we've brought new clothes they are quick to take them and return them with the name so they won't get lost in the laundry.
We were very pleased with our experience at A. G. Rhodes in Cobb. We came after about 6 different recommendations from friends. We felt the nursing staff was experienced with dementia patients and did an outstanding job with our mom’s recovery! They knew when to encourage and motivate and when to give her space. The physical and occupational therapists were excellent with my mom. Many activities to choose from and a music channel which was so good for settling her. Her room was spacious with a beautiful window to see outside. The grounds were beautiful for outside strolls and the birds inside were high motivation for getting her out for exercise. Rhodes made strides with her the family thought we’d never see again.
It was a lvery clean, warm atmosphere and well furnished.
We are very pleased with the care Mom receives at AGRhodes Cobb. She is an advanced stage of dementia and basically requires assistance with all ADL. The staff treats all residents with respect and kindness, the facility is always clean, the activities engage residents and the food is pretty good. The support staff and administration are very responsive to questions too.
