Keeping nursing home communities safe and healthy is something we all play a part in.

A.G. Rhodes was pleased to participate in a new video from the CDC highlighting simple, everyday actions that elders and care partners can take to help prevent the spread of infections in nursing home communities.

We were glad to welcome the CDC to A.G. Rhodes and have our elders and care partners take part in this project. Sharing practical information about infection prevention is especially important in nursing homes, where protecting the health of older adults is a priority every day.

Watch “Preventing Infections in Your Nursing Home Community” and see if you can spot a few A.G. Rhodes spaces and faces!

Elders at A.G. Rhodes Cobb enjoyed a little taste of Oktoberfest with a traditional German-inspired meal featuring pretzels, sausage and sauerkraut.

It's always fun to celebrate different traditions and bring a little variety to the table. Cheers to good food and good company!

A little music, dancing and a whole lot of fun!

A few A.G. Rhodes Atlanta elders and care partners had a wonderful time at the Mayor’s Senior Ball earlier this month, a special opportunity to get dressed up, enjoy time together and celebrate alongside older adults from across Atlanta.

Thank you to the City of Atlanta Government and Mayor Andre Dickens for hosting this wonderful tradition and making our elders feel so special!

This past week, we celebrated Healthcare Food Service Workers Week and recognized the dedicated Culinary Serv ices teams across our three A.G. Pictured are just a few of our many Culinary Services team members who help nourish our elders and make mealtimes special. Thank you to all of our Culinary Services care partners for everything you do!

For A.G. Rhodes elder Marvin Wiggins, baseball has been a lifelong passion—from childhood trips to Yankee Stadium to playing the game himself for many years. Today, that love of the game is as strong as ever.

Thanks to Second Wind Dreams featuring the Virtual Dementia Tour, Marvin’s family, the Atlanta Braves, and our team at A.G. Rhodes Atlanta, Marvin recently had a dream fulfilled with a trip to see the Braves play and some very special baseball memorabilia, including a Willie Mays-style glove.

We are so grateful for all those involved in making this unforgettable experience possible for Marvin, and to Monique John at CBS Atlanta for sharing this beautiful story!
