As we near the end of Asian American and Pacific I

As we near the end of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month - which represents a celebration of the important contributions of the #AAPI community to American history, society, and culture - we reflect on a unique part of A.G. Rhodes' history.

For much of the 1970s, A.G. Rhodes worked with international recruiting agencies to fill nursing positions. These nurses, including several from Korea, lived at A.G. Rhodes Atlanta while providing care for our elders. They made meaningful connections and shared their culture with other staff and the residents who lived there at that time. Throughout our nearly 120-year history, staff and residents worldwide have been part of the A.G. Rhodes family, and we celebrate their diverse histories, cultures, religions, and contributions.

Everyone chooses senior living for a different reason. This older adult came to A.G Rhodes with mobility difficulties and just needed a little extra care to help her live her life to the fullest. We are grateful for our skilled nursing team who works around the clock to ensure that this resident and others can live a long, full, and happy life with less worry.
