A little music, dancing and a whole lot of fun!

A few A.G. Rhodes Atlanta elders and care partners had a wonderful time at the Mayor’s Senior Ball earlier this month, a special opportunity to get dressed up, enjoy time together and celebrate alongside older adults from across Atlanta.

Thank you to the City of Atlanta Government and Mayor Andre Dickens for hosting this wonderful tradition and making our elders feel so special!

Good food is an important part of feeling at home!

This past week, we celebrated Healthcare Food Service Workers Week and recognized the dedicated Culinary Serv ices teams across our three A.G. Rhodes communities who work hard to offer a variety of menu options that reflect our elders’ preferences while making mealtimes an enjoyable part of each day.

Pictured are just a few of our many Culinary Services team members who help nourish our elders and make mealtimes special. Thank you to all of our Culinary Services care partners for everything you do!

For A.G. Rhodes elder Marvin Wiggins, baseball has been a lifelong passion—from childhood trips to Yankee Stadium to playing the game himself for many years. Today, that love of the game is as strong as ever.

Thanks to Second Wind Dreams featuring the Virtual Dementia Tour, Marvin’s family, the Atlanta Braves, and our team at A.G. Rhodes Atlanta, Marvin recently had a dream fulfilled with a trip to see the Braves play and some very special baseball memorabilia, including a Willie Mays-style glove.

We are so grateful for all those involved in making this unforgettable experience possible for Marvin, and to Monique John at CBS Atlanta for sharing this beautiful story!

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re s In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re shining our Employee Spotlight on Hilda Mota Zoto, a longtime member of our A.G. Rhodes Cobb team.

For more than a decade, Hilda has built meaningful relationships with our elders while also finding special ways to share her Mexican heritage with our community. Last year, she even brought family and friends to A.G. Rhodes to perform traditional Mexican dances.

For Hilda, it all comes back to connection. As she says, “You get connections with elders. It’s amazing. You love them like they’re your family.”

Visit the blog link in our bio to more about Hilda, the traditions she shares and what she has learned from the elders she serves.
