Our physical, occupational and speech-language therapists help patients recover and regain strength, confidence and independence. Our dietary services team prepares fresh, nutritious meals that nourish the body and create moments of connection, while our environmental services team ensures that our community is clean, safe, comfortable and welcoming.

At A.G. Rhodes, some of the most meaningful innovations begin with listening.
We're proud to partner with the Georgia Tech School of Industrial Design and the Georgia Tech SimTigrate Design Center on projects that connect students directly with older adults to understand better the realities of aging, independence, and everyday life.

As highlighted in this story, what started as an effort to improve gardening tools became a powerful learning experience and life lesson. By working alongside our elders at A.G. Rhodes DeKalb (formerly Wesley Woods), students gained firsthand insight into how thoughtful design can support autonomy, adaptation, and quality of life.

This collaboration reflects our belief that older adults have invaluable knowledge, experiences, and perspectives and can still teach us a thing or two.

Thank you to Georgia Tech for sharing this story, and especially to our residents for inspiring the next generation of designers and innovators.
