All three A.G. Rhodes locations have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® Accreditation which is attained after a rigorous process to demonstrate that a health care provider complies with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care, and that it is committed to continually improving care.
For several months, A.G. Rhodes underwent unannounced onsite reviews and meticulous audits at each of its communities where teams of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance standards spanning several areas including infection prevention and control, leadership, emergency management, environment of care, medication management, and more.
The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
“Earning the Gold Seal of Approval demonstrates that A.G. Rhodes meets rigorous operational, health and safety standards,” said Deke Cateau, A.G. Rhodes CEO. “I want to thank our tireless care partners because this nationally-renowned accreditation is a reflection of their commitment to exceptional resident care and safety.”
