A.G. Rhodes Cobb Recognized for Excellence, A.G. RhodesA.G. Rhodes Cobb has achieved a significant milestone in its commitment to quality care for individuals living with dementia by being named as an I’m Still Here® Center of Excellence.

I’m Still Here® is an evidence-based approach to dementia care based on the belief that a person living with dementia is ‘still here’ and can experience a high quality of life regardless of their degree of memory loss. The program is based on the work of John Zeisel, Ph.D., founder of The Hearthstone Institute and author of I’m Still Here: A New Philosophy of Alzheimer’s Care, and it utilizes research-based, non-pharmacologic approaches to treat the agitation, aggression, apathy, and anxiety that individuals living with dementia often experience.

Rooted in data-rich evidence, the I’m Still Here® approach enhances quality of life and brings purpose and meaning to people living with dementia. Guided by the principles of dignity, engagement, community, and education, it fosters a compassionate and fulfilling journey for individuals and their care partners. The I’m Still Here® Center of Excellence designation is only awarded to a select few organizations each year. To achieve this distinct certification, A.G. Rhodes Cobb participated in a rigorous training and implementation program developed by the Hearthstone Institute.
