Hamilton Holmes, Jr., visits with residents

Staff at AG Rhodes Marietta location Health & Rehab’s today expressed appreciation to Lockheed Martin employees for their generous donations that benefit residents at A.G. Rhodes.

Through the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Employees’ Reaching Out (LM AERO) Club, employees have given thousands of dollars to A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab, a not-for-profit organization that operates three rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities in the metro Atlanta area.

“As a not-for-profit organization, financial donors are instrumental in helping us provide high quality health care to seniors,” said Al Blackwelder, A.G. Rhodes’ Chief Executive Officer.  “We are grateful to be in a community with such compassionate and thoughtful neighbors such as those from Lockheed Martin.”

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company has a long history with the communities in which its employees live and work.  For the past 60 years, employees have contributed to provide support to local charities, such as A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab.

“We care about supporting important causes in our local community,” said Hamilton Holmes, Jr., Marietta Site Leader for the LM AERO Club.  “For many years our employees have given to A.G. Rhodes.  They provide great care and we’re proud to be a charitable partner.”

Donations such as those from the LM AERO Club help pay for expenses not covered by insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, and for resident outings and activities.

On behalf of A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab, Blackwelder presented Holmes with a certificate of appreciation to the LM AERO Club, followed by a tour of A.G. Rhodes.
