Through a partnership with DaVita Kidney Care, A.G. Rhodes has opened our very first onsite dialysis clinic at A.G. Rhodes Atlanta, with another clinic opening soon at A.G. Rhodes Wesley Woods.
DaVita is an industry leader providing quality renal care and brings a dedicated team, partnership model, and focus on safety to A.G. Rhodes. Having an onsite clinic promotes better care and a better quality of life for residents who will no longer have to miss favorite activities or other scheduled events due to offsite treatments. It eliminates complicated transportation and other logistics that are disruptive to the resident’s day, and it’s more convenient for residents and staff.
Kidney disease affects more than 37 million people in the United States. Given that many people in and around Atlanta live with the disease, having an onsite dialysis clinic will have a tremendous impact on the quality of care and quality of life for current and future residents who stay at A.G. Rhodes.
Atlanta resident, Ms. Alice Isreal, has been at A.G. Rhodes for six years and on dialysis for 19 years. She describes the new onsite dialysis clinic as “heaven sent” and is so thankful that she does not have to go out in bad weather or sit in a cramped van to get to her appointments three times a week. She says, “It’s wonderful and beautiful” and we couldn’t agree more!
